Sen. Martine Laroque Gulick

Evan is a tireless champion of Burlington and a fearless advocate for a healthy and safe community. I have worked with him both as a Senator and School Commissioner and have admired his unwavering care and support of our young people and our community at large.

Councilor Mark Barlow (North District)

Evan Litwin understands the need for sensibility and balance.  He has demonstrated these traits when I’ve dealt with him on constituent issues, in his role as a founder and moderator of the NNE Facebook Page, and in his position on the city’s Housing Board of Review.  He is ready for his next challenge.

I’m very excited that Evan has decided to run for City Council.  He will be a great addition to what I like to call the “rational center” wing of city government and I will be supporting him in his campaign as I hope many of you will.”

Evan has shown that he will work hard, communicate clearly and advocate for our Ward 7 community. He won't shy away from the difficult issues that face our city.

I first met Evan as a student and he came to work for me when he later returned to Vermont. Throughout the 20+ years I have known him I have found him to be compassionate, resourceful, and dedicated. He listens closely, he thinks carefully, and he works hard. People are important to him and he doesn’t forget his promises or his responsibilities. No one I know is better at researching a problem or generating good solutions. He will make an excellent councilor.”
